Along with the release of the second half of their album BIJI Pt. 2, BIJI focuses on their single ‘Original Kurda,’ a celebration of freedom, creativity and love- and all things Kurdish. The phrase ‘Original Kurda’ is something the duo started saying that resonated with people who heard it. It’s a phrase BIJI decided to build the song around: a new way of describing someone who is ‘very Kurdish,’ in the best possible way. The track itself is bold and assertive, but true to BIJI’s style, joyful and upbeat at the same time.
